Corruption Has Become the Economy

Corruption Has Become the Economy

Corruption has become the economy. That's not hyperbole. It's the new normal.

No Regulators

Corporations are running amuck because there are no regulators. The CFPB does not exist. The CFTC has been destroyed. The SEC has been greatly diminished.

Corporations and billionaires know they can get away with anything. And that is exactly what they are doing.

Stealing Pays

That's one reason corporate profits are so high: stealing is a profitable business.

The administration can't stand regulators. Why? Because regulators prevent them from making money through corruption and fraud. So they're getting rid of the regulators and the regulations one by one. This pattern of rising corruption and state violence mirrors what we see in declining nations.

Common Knowledge

That's why "nearly all Americans say government corruption is 'widespread.'"

Everyone knows it. Everyone sees it. The grifters bet that nobody's going to lift a finger to stop them. And so far, they're right.

What Now

The gutting of regulatory agencies isn't just bad governance. It's a feature, not a bug. When regulators disappear, the people who benefit are the ones doing the stealing.

This is what happens when corruption becomes policy. The AI employment crisis compounds the problem by concentrating wealth and power even further, leaving ordinary people with fewer protections and fewer options.

Good luck.
